Immediate opening: we are hiring a precision welder in Dundy County, Nebraska. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day to day you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
