Elevator repair technician wanted in Lake County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Lake County, Minnesota. You will work at a busy lift company. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Day to day you will respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; run load and overload tests with test weights; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
