Great opportunity: we are hiring a HVAC-R technician in San Juan County, Colorado. The job is in an HVAC service company. The role involves fault-find control boards and defrost timers; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight. What we are looking for: • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience.
