Heavy equipment operator — Sussex County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Sussex County, Delaware. The role involves level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; check for underground cables and services before digging; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook. You should have: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Six days a week, one day off.
