Day-to-day duties: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Six days a week, one day off.
