Now hiring: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Calhoun County, Iowa. The job is in a car refinishing workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing On a typical shift you will mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch.
