Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tile mason in Matanuska-Susitna Borough, Alaska. You should have: • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) Day-to-day duties: • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
