Sheet metal welder wanted in Jones County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Jones County, North Carolina. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On a typical shift you will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
