PVC window installer • Pickens County, Alabama

We are recruiting: we are hiring a PVC window installer in Pickens County, Alabama. You will be based on a window-and-door production line. Day-to-day duties: • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile Requirements: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
