Reinforcement steel fixer wanted in Chambers County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Chambers County, Alabama. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Day to day you will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover.
