Stainless steel welder — Duchesne County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Duchesne County, Utah. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through The role involves: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
