Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Hughes County, Oklahoma. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Your main tasks: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
