Vacancy available: power press operator (Nebraska)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a power press operator in Thayer County, Nebraska. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. Day-to-day duties: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses Ideal candidate: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
