Great opportunity: we are hiring a hand presser in Logan County, Arkansas. You will be based in a busy laundry. Your main tasks: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
