Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes The role involves knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers.
