Bar bender and fixer • Mitchell County, Kansas

Now hiring: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Mitchell County, Kansas. You will work on a busy residential building site. Your main tasks: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
