Immediate opening: gas pipe fitter (Missouri)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Buchanan County, Missouri. You will work in a gas distribution network. Your main tasks: • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply You should have: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious 5+ years on the tools preferred.
