Immediate opening: thermal insulation technician (Mississippi)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Montgomery County, Mississippi. You will be based at an industrial plant. Ideal candidate: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls On the job you will handle: • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits.
