Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in San Patricio County, Texas. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. The role involves select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish. You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
