Immediate opening: stainless steel welder (South Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Pickens County, South Carolina. You will be based on a structural steel site. You will inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
