We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Tompkins County, New York. You will work at a halal meat counter. On the job you will handle: • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths 6+ years on the tools preferred.
