Stainless steel welder wanted in Atchison County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Atchison County, Missouri. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On the job you will handle: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
