Landscape gardener • Clinton County, New York

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Clinton County, New York. You will be based in a botanical garden. On a typical shift you will lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters. Requirements: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer $5,250 per project plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
