QC technician • Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana

Now hiring: we are hiring a QC technician in Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a busy manufacturing plant. Your main tasks: • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
