Requirements: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain Day-to-day duties: • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker 3+ years on the tools preferred.
