Horticulturist — Ulster County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a horticulturist in Ulster County, New York. The role involves water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste. You should have: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Rotating shifts.
