Vacancy available: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Fayette County, Iowa. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day-to-day duties: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration 3+ years on the tools preferred.
