We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Del Norte County, California. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Day-to-day duties: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
