Great opportunity: we are hiring a bread baker in Beauregard Parish, Louisiana. Your main tasks: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Score the top of loaves before baking • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream Requirements: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Accurate at weighing and following recipes 6+ years on the tools preferred.
