Coating plant operator — Jackson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a coating plant operator in Jackson County, South Dakota. You will work in a metal finishing workshop. Requirements: • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process On the job you will handle: • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
