Garden maintenance worker • Beauregard Parish, Louisiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Beauregard Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a botanical garden. Day-to-day duties: • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads Requirements: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage 5+ years on the tools preferred.
