We are recruiting: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Alexander County, North Carolina. You will work on a high-rise facade project. What we are looking for: • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units Your main tasks: • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades • Fit double-glazed sealed units into frames • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame 3+ years on the tools preferred.
