Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe lagger in San Luis Obispo County, California. You will torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness. You should have: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
