Urgent requirement: garment machinist (Mississippi)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment machinist in Leflore County, Mississippi. Day to day you will change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
