Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Will County, Illinois. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
