Now hiring: machinist (Mississippi)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machinist in Noxubee County, Mississippi. You will work on an export house sewing floor. You will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line 6+ years on the tools preferred. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
