Great opportunity: press shop operator (Wisconsin)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press shop operator in Ashland County, Wisconsin. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Day-to-day duties: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts 6+ years on the tools preferred.
