Canteen cook wanted in Louisa County

Now hiring: we are hiring a canteen cook in Louisa County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha What we are looking for: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
