Fabricator-welder — Mecklenburg County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. You will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Six days a week, one day off.
