Join our team: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Sussex County, Virginia. The job is at a civil contractor's yard. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence On a typical shift you will grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; refuel the machine and record running hours; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank.
