Great opportunity: we are hiring a carpenter in Jessamine County, Kentucky. You will be based at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring Requirements: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Own basic hand tools Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
