Great opportunity: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Malam Maduri, Jigawa State. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Your main tasks: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely Part-time with flexible hours.
