Now hiring: gas commissioning technician (Georgia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Camden County, Georgia. You will work on residential and apartment building sites. Day to day you will lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray. You should have: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Full-time, day shift.
