Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium installer in Jasper County, Iowa. Day to day you will anchor frames to brick or RCC openings with fixing lugs and dash fasteners; check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing; assemble window and door frames from extruded sections; fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels; install glass panels and secure them with glazing beads; drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws. Ideal candidate: • Physically able to lift and carry heavy glass and profiles • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes 6+ years on the tools preferred.
