Confectioner — Bridgend county borough

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a confectioner in Bridgend county borough, Wales. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • 2+ years' experience as a baker The role involves shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; score the top of loaves before baking; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds. We offer £1,700 per project plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
