We are recruiting: VMC operator (Wales)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a VMC operator in Carmarthenshire, Wales. You will work in a CNC machining unit. You will measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around £135 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
