Now hiring: production welder (Oregon)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a production welder in Lane County, Oregon. You will be based at an automobile body shop. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Willing to work shifts and overtime On the job you will handle: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch Full-time with occasional weekends.
