QC inspector — City and Borough of Leeds

Great opportunity: we are hiring a QC inspector in City and Borough of Leeds, England. The role involves: • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts Requirements: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping Pay around £2,150 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
