Elevator repair technician wanted in Clay County

Join our team: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Clay County, Nebraska. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Day-to-day duties: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches You should have: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
