Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Sierra County, California. The job is at a busy lift company. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Day-to-day duties: • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Run load and overload tests with test weights Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
